The College of the Canyons campus Canyon Country invites local musicians to audition for a chance to play in the second annual battle of the bands College on Sunday, May 31.
Dr. Theule Ryan, Vice President of campus development grants and Canyon Country. said that he is very interested to host this family event for our local music lovers, one more time. He wanted to continue the tradition of try and see what could best local band in Canyon Country After the success of last year's event,
To do a test, the bands must apply online by Thursday, April 30. Keyboard Galleria team then select 5-7 bands to compete.
There are many cash prizes in this competition, in addition to the set of musical instruments will also be a nice gift. A panel of music industry veteran will be appointed as a judge in the competition.
As an added bonus, KHTS AM 1220 will air the band's music making.
The 2015 Battle of the Bands is scheduled noon to 17:00 Sunday, May 31, at the Carl a. Rasmussen Amphitheater at Canyon Country campus.
