The Spring Start Party 2015 will be held by the College of the Canyons on 1st May

For years, College of the Canyons  welcomed students and families to participate in bi-annual "Star Party" event, where viewers are so beautiful complexity of the universe and the educational programs that immerse students in it.

All-Conference Honors for Two Basketball Players

Monica Friedl the freshman forward College Canyons was named first team All-Western State Conference (WSC) honoree after leading Cougars in scoring, rebounds and blocked shots during the 2014-15 season. Guard sophomore, Qimmah Russo was named honorable mention All-WSC.A College Canyons graduate named Friedl had an average of 14.3 points and 9.4 rebounds in a team, he is also able to block 41 shots on the season. it means Friedl occupies twelfth place in the conference in scoring. He is number five in terms of getting rebounds and also number six in terms of blocking the shoots.
6-foot tall newcomer started 27 of 29 games for head coach Greg Donka and led the team in minutes played in approximately 20 per game.In the last six games of the season Freidl scored 20 or more points five times. It also average 19.6 points per game against USC opponents.With as such gained valuable experience in the game the future looks bright for Friedl and Cougars in 2015-16.

"Monica has a great freshman season. It improves every day and is one of the top post players in the conference," said Donka.
