This is a brief history of the "College of the Canyons". COC college was formed in 1967 and officially opened in 1969. The college is temporarily COC operates in College William S. Hart High School in Newhall. In 1970 the college COC build a permanent campus on the east side of Interstate 5, just south of Valencia Boulevard and north of McBean Parkway.
COC college moved to the collection of buildings while in 1970 while permanent facilities are being built. Meanwhile Over the years, educational facilities constructed to ensure that they blend in with nature and the environment, thus creating a relaxed and comfortable environment.
