Four members of the College of Women’s Volleyball Program Signed National Letters of Intent

Four members of the College of the Canyons Volleyball Women program signed national letters of intent on Wednesday, with the sophomores to Serena LeDuff, Kaitlyn Reiner, Keirstyn Anderson and Lauren Underwood each receiving scholarships to continue their careers playing in the school and four years.

A person named Anderson will play at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Lauren Underwood will play for Newberry College. While Serena LeDuff, Kaitlyn Reiner will join Southern Arkansas University

All three institutions are competing at the level "NCAA Division II."

"This has been an amazing group. He said women's volleyball coach in the COC for Lisa Hooper from their early days in the program,to focus on their job then they should split up, they are smart kids, not only in the field of justice but also in the field of sports.


Hooper hope they can succeed and also be part of the success of this program.

To LeDuff, twice Western State Conference (WSC) player, "Player of the Year Honoree," which also was named "team" every State in 2014, played a pivotal role for the Cougars in last season.

Triple play-captain student in all the games 25 Cougars, appearing in 87 of 90 groups, while leading the team in kills (343), and points (389), and service access control entries (39), total attacks (918), kills each group ( 3.94) and points per set (4.5) from the outside hitter position.

She also ranked second on the team with 304 digs, while it also kills 343 in the eleventh largest in the state.

Fellow student tri-captains Rainer and Anderson also received honors all-conference first team in 2014, while Underwood was named "second team" each conference.

Rainer record 156 kills and 71 digs in the season, to go along with 24 service aces and 60 blocks total games over 24 such as the prohibition medium tires.

Anderson was also, Libero team, a strong season, the Cougars led with 4.25 digs per set 361 on average.

He was also top scorer in the Cougars in 2014, scoring 220 kills and 175 digs 68.33 aces and a total of 23 blocks outside hitter.

Women's volleyball team in the Code of Conduct ended the 2014 season with a 21-4 record, while going undefeated in conference play to clinch the WSC Cougars second consecutive South championship.
